We started with this great pair of vintage Dickies canvas work pants in the perfect shade of dark tan and reworked them with various vintage textiles that I had.  We started with Japanese Jaspe tan canvas, vintage stripe fine wale cord, and  vintage rust US mail bag cloth,  All of these got patched onto the front of the pant and then we hand stitched a piece of the mail bag cloth to the one back pocket with Sashiko style stitching.   These are a great pair of one of a kind pants that can be worn with anything.
